All things that are in the word of God can be known absolutely by just believing and taking it as final. They have to do with our salvation and Christian living. The word of God is not complex for people to understand with little or no explanation. These are simple, undeniable and indisputable Scriptures. God has made them plain and irrefutable. Jesus Christ built His own Church according to his promise, Matt. 16:13-18, He is the ONLY FOUNDATION of His Church. 1Corinth. 3:11. In Rom 16:16, it is addressed as “THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST “
Many believe that the Church membership has nothing to do with salvation, thus the assumption that Church cannot save. While they view the Church as a good thing spiritually, but deny her tie to salvation, the Apostle Paul told the elders of the Church at Ephesus to …. “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the Church of God, which he obtained with his own blood” Acts 20:28, ESV Eph. 1:7 .ESV . Considering the importance of the Church in relation to the salvation of those who are called into it. To be redeemed by the blood of Christ is to be baptized into His Church. Paul wrote to the Galatians, “And I was still unknown in person to the churches of Judea that are in Christ”. (Galatians 1:22, ESV).In Ephesians 5:23, “For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself her Savior. Eph. 5:23, ESV.
The same book says “There is but one body………………” Eph 4:4, ESV, which Is His Church that will be saved by Him at the end. “So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved”. Acts 2 :41,47, ESV
The Church and Salvation are inseparable;
a. It is in the Church that one received forgiveness of sin….”He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”.
Col. 1:13-14, ESV
b. In the Church there is sanctification Eph. 5:25-26
c. All spiritual blessings are in Christ Eph.1:3.
You can become a member of the Lord’s Church indeed -the Church of Christ by doing what people did about 2000 years ago, without being in denomination Acts 2:47; 1Cor.1:10-13. God bless you, as you examine these Scriptures to see if these things are true, Acts 17:11, ESV
